Living Planet Aquarium

So, I decided to take Thing 1 and Thing 2 to the Aquarium last week. They loved it! I have to admit I really enjoyed it too. They have seriously amped up their exhibits. The first time I went I was some what disappointed. Not this time. There are tons of new things to check out. We loved watching the extremely active otters and the penguins. I think I have too much fun with my kids.

I think this is my favorite pic. Harlee with the giant shark teeth. She is such a cheese ball. I am giving the aquarium a solid 10. I couldn't have asked for a more awesome adventure. The only way it could have been better was if it was free. Free is always the best!! LOL...no seriously, everyone loves free stuff.

My Utah State Fair Visit!

I absolutely love the State Fair. Maybe its the carny folks or the close range cattle, but either way its always a blast. We ate quesadillas from a mobilla, played games and bought a few totally pointless souvenirs. Great times had by all!

We watched this cow get a Mohawk. Megan won a Giraffe and goldfish (wtf?)!

Caiden was terrified of this cute little bumble bee. He started slapping at his face when he got close. It was strange that they had a bumble bee checking IDs for the alcohol wrist bands. Slap away...

Make sure you check it out. If you miss it this year, don't worry, it will be back next year!

Jake's Old...

My hubby celebrated his 28th birthday last week! He's old..well older than me! Ha! We had a fun family BBQ that we finished off with cheesecake. I found some pirate hats that I made Jake wear. He pretends like he's annoyed but I know he loves it. Harlee definitely does!

Congrats on getting older! xoxo

An Amazing, Rainy, Labor Day Weekend!

You all might have noticed that it poured over the labor day weekend. We were suppose to spend the entire weekend at the lake, but we changed things up and had a great time. We kicked off the weekend by cheering my sister on at her swim meet! Go Mandi Go!!!! Yeah, we're that family.

Then, since it was still raining, we went to the Mountain Man Rendezvous in Bridger Valley. Don't be jealous. It truly was incredibly fun. I just wish I could of had my pic taken with the man dressed as an indian in ONLY his loin cloth. Jake didn't seem pleased with the idea, so I just passed on by.

I wish someone would have explained where the bagpipes fit in? Maybe the Mountain Men liked Irish music....humm...

But then the rained cleared the next day and we arrived at beautiful Flaming Gorge. Thanks mom and dad for pulling our bootys around for two days. We had so much fun. xoxo

And yes that is me and my sis doing an amazing tube pyramid. I know, we have mad skills!
